Aputure Light Storm C300d Mark II LED Light (V-Mount)

OVERVIEW

Built on the success of the LS C300d, the Aputure LS C300d II Daylight LED Monolight delivers increased output, refined design, and advanced control options. Featuring Chip-on-Board (COB) LED technology, it produces a balanced 5600K daylight color temperature while consuming only 350W of power. With the included high-efficiency reflector, the fixture outputs up to 45,000 lux at 3.3', and maintains exceptional color accuracy with CRI and TLCI ratings of 96.

The redesigned control ballast supports smooth 0–100% stepless dimming with Linear, Logarithmic, Exponential, and S-Curve options. Separated from the lamp head to reduce weight, it connects via a quick-release plate and clamp for secure mounting on a stand. The all-aluminum construction ensures durability, while the Bowens S-Type mount offers compatibility with a wide range of light modifiers.

Wireless control is built in, with an included remote offering on/off and dimming control from up to 328'. Expanded control is available via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app, which enables full adjustment of settings, lighting effects such as Lightning, Pulse, Flash, and Explosion, and firmware updates. Designed for sound-sensitive environments, the C300d II features an efficient cooling system that operates silently and can be disabled when needed.

Power options include a universal 110–240V AC supply for worldwide use, as well as dual battery plates for V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries when mains power is unavailable. The fixture ships with a power cable, DMX cable, wireless remote, clamp, and a rugged carrying case capable of supporting up to 220 lb for safe transport and storage.

The C300d II represents a major evolution of Aputure’s original 300d, offering 20% more brightness, improved efficiency, and smarter control. When paired with the optional Fresnel 2X, output can reach up to 80,000 lux approaching the intensity of a 575W HMI while maintaining accurate daylight color reproduction.

Additional refinements include a redesigned lamp head with a 360° rotating yoke, a handbrake locking mechanism for precise positioning, and Aputure’s hyper-efficient 55° reflector, which dramatically increases output. The updated control box features a fanless heat-sink design for silent operation, built-in lighting effects, DMX compatibility, and app-based Bluetooth mesh control with extended range.

Completing the package is a redesigned carrying case built for durability and mobility, offering reinforced protection, a soft exterior, and a rugged base suitable for demanding production environments.
