With the blitzkrieg of HD video in DSLR cameras taking over the photo industry, I have decided that it is important for me to learn how to shoot and edit videos. Even if it is on a basic level, it will be a valuable skill for me as a working photographer. It will also help me provide better content here. So what video editing software is best? I honestly have no idea and have heard varying opinions. Our former video expert Eddie mentioned that he loved using Premiere CS5 and used it for all of our YouTube videos. Others swear by Apple's Final Cut Pro. Let's hear what you think and why. Right now I have started a training course (DVD and book) on Premiere CS5, but I would be happy to do the same for Final Cut if I can be convinced that it is so much better. I am sure once I get the hang of editing in general, learning new software won't be such a challenge. -MZ
