Unique Christmas Gifts for the photographer in your life

There is no denying that photography does get expensive sometimes. Especially when we have a friend or a cousin who’s into photography, with a festive season such as this one around, and while we’re looking for a Christmas gift for him/her, we always find ourselves short of ideas. Well, the expensive gifts are always there to give, but it is the unique photography gifts we are thinking about, something that will put a smile on your friend’s face this Christmas. Here are the suggestions:

  1. Peak Design Slide

There is no question about the fact that it is a step up from all the straps that usually come with the camera. Other utilities: length can be adjusted easily, can be removed and re-attached in next to no time. As a Christmas gift? A loud yes!

  1. Lasolite 30” TrigripDifflector

As a photographer, you can imagine the trouble experienced in holding a diffuser or reflector with one hand. Lasolite has got just the solution- diffuser and reflector in one:difflector (hence the name). The trigrip series makes it uber-easy to hold and the flat edge doesn’t let it roll away. Your friend will love it.

  1. Mindshift Filter Hive

For someone who’s a hardcore landscape photographer, keeping all the filters safe and secure in one place is a hard thing. MindShift Filter Hive is just the thing for them. Designed to connect to the belt or the waist strap of the camera bag, it will solve your problems related to the storage of your filters.

  1. Rogue Flashbender

It is a great gift for those who do flash photography. An easy-to-pack setup that helps photographers to bend and twist the light, the Rogue FlashBender is required to be just put on the flash to manipulate the light conditions.

  1. Lensbaby ‘Sweet Spot’ Lens for Mobile Phones

This one is a gem. This little thing can grip on to the mobile lens to give you a quirky, bokeh-like effect in pictures. For those who like to use their cameras to click pictures for all intents and purposes. It makes for a nice Christmas gift as well.

  1. Mikey Digital (Microphone for iPad and iPhone)

Photographers quite often like to record things on their iPhones. This small microphone is compatible with Apple devices, and works equally well in both loud and quiet environments.

There are many others that we haven’t been able to list here. There are flash drives, signature prints, typical photographer’s tees, tripods, lens bracelets, and so many other things that can prove useful for a practising photographer and are real gift materials. Just think a bit, have the gift well packed, put on a teaser, and surprise the photographer in your life.Shooting with long lens,Choose the right lens
