Unique Photo and Unique University recently teamed up with Tamron America and Rick Gerrity for the “Dress To Impress” event at Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club.
The Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club evolved from the centurt-long tradition of Urban Black Cowboys in the "City of Brotherly Love" and provides horsemanship experience to the inner-city of Philadelphia. Located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, this non-profit organiation remains true to its original mission in producing an alternative to outdoor leisure activity to the Philadelphia community and engages with urban youth in equestrian sports. They do this all while teaching life skills, instilling discipline and promoting academic excellence!
This Tamron and Unique Photo sponsored event highlighted many of the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club members and their gorgeous companions as they posed, road, and hung out with everyone that joined us in Philadelphia for this excursion.
Rick Gerrity was at the event to answer any and all questions during this exclusive opportunity, and helped guide photographers with a range of experience on how to shoot photographs and video of this comunity driven club.
You could see all the care and importance that the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club brings to their community, and how impactful they are to the urban youth. Not only do they provide an engaging experience but they also are also keeping this historical part of Philadelphia's history alive and well.
All who attended the event had a wonderful experience with both the horses and the members of the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club, and everyone walked away with some stunning images and videos while learning about this historical club.
