- Why did you choose travel photography as your niche?
?I had always wanted to see the world, and this was my chance to do so. No matter how much I travel, the list of places I want to travel to keeps getting longer.
- What are the new and untouched trends in the world of travel photography?
?Getting the perfect shot of iconic destinations seems to be the trend these days. Good is no longer good enough.
- Which camera do you feel has been specially designed for travel photography?
?I’m in love with the new Fujifilm X-T1 for travel photography. It is light, compact, and does not compromise on quality. In fact, in many ways it surpasses most DSLRs. The Fujifilm and Zeiss lenses that support the X-Series of cameras are outstanding, and there are new lenses being announced on a regular basis.
- What is your dream location to shoot and why?
?Out of the places I have already visited, I’d have to say Italy and Iceland, and I love those places so much that I’m now running photo tours in these countries. Scotland is huge on my wish list now, for destinations I have not been to. It is crucial to know your place of travel and the camera equipment you are carrying along.
