Ever seen X-ray photographs of plants and animals?

So how does a physicist specialized in radiation physics turn into a photographer? Well, Arie Van't Riet isn't an average artist and he started to use this experience of low energy X-rays in X-ray photography which is an amazing kind of black and white photography. "Looking with X-ray eyes to nature. That's what I like to experience with my X-ray camera", says Arie Van't Riet. Riet first created bioramas when an acquaintance asked him to X-ray one of his paintings. The resultant was so amazing that he kept experimenting and he succeeded in developing an impressive array of images. Check out some of his work below.
