Argus Argoflex Seventy-Five

Categories: Cameras Short Posts

The Argus Seventy-Five. Not actually a TLR, more like a box camera with a waist-level finder. It has an f/13 fixed aperture, fixed focus, and a choice of bulb or 1/60 shutter speed. The Argus Seventy-Five has a tripod thread which makes it one of the easier bakelite type box cameras. It also has an interesting feature where the shooting lens has a red indicator to show that the shutter is cocked. This particular camera doesn’t allow for multiple exposures (still a ton of fun to shoot though). It takes 620 film and will not allow the use of 120 unless re-rolled.
