EXPO: Hands-on Demo and Live Shoot with Ray Alvarez

Join Ray Alvarez for a live demo and hands-on live shoot to capture both client work and marketing content at the same time without slowing anything down. Attendees will have the opportunity to photograph our Expo models and apply what is being taught in real time. Everyone will get a chance to shoot, and lighting (along with triggers) will be provided. Ray will also break down what to look for during a shoot, what moments matter, and how to turn real interactions into content that feels natural, not forced.
*Bring your camera and your favorite lens! A fast lens is recommended if you have one (f1.2, f1.4, or f1.8).

Ray Alvarez is a Florida based photographer, content creator and educator known for his real world approach to lighting and client experience. As the creative behind Shoot With Ray, he specializes in branding, headshots and content creation, blending natural light with off-camera flash to create bold, intentional imagery. Ray is a Westcott Top Pro and Cheetahstand Master Creator who regularly teaches at conferences, workshops, and industry events across the country. His teaching style focuses on simplifying lighting, thinking through scenes in real time, and helping photographers build confidence behind the camera.

Please upload a JPEG image. Resize photographs to under 8MB per photo before submitting.
DO NOT include watermarks on photographs — images with watermarks will be disqualified from entry.
Winners will be announced one week after the deadline on Instagram @UniquePhoto.

Submission Guidelines: Photos must be original and submitted by the photographer. Submissions must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content. Number of photos and submission deadline will be determined by the specific Creators Challenge contest.
