Moving Between iPhones, DSLRs And More! Everyone knows that the best camera is the one you have with you. This session with Katrin Eismann explores when to best work with your iPhone, point & shoot or full frame mirrorless or DSLR camera equipment. The class also addresses how to quickly and easily transfer images from professional camera equipment to your iPhone for image processing and sharing and explores a variety of apps to expand your iPhone to capture and enhance your photographs.

Please note: Katrin works with the Apple iPhone and Sony cameras but many of the concepts and techniques will work with other smartphones, cameras and computer platforms.

KATRIN EISMANN is an internationally recognized artist, author, and educator who has been working with digital imaging tools since 1989. Katrin's extensive teaching and speaking engagements address the latest tools and techniques of digital imaging and the impact they are having upon professional photographers, artists, and educators. She speaks German and English and has taught and presented in Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout North America.

Katrin studied photography and electronic still imaging at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon graduating at the top of her class in 1991, she had the good fortune to become the first intern at the Kodak Center of Creative Imaging in Camden, Maine. Three years later she was the Director of Education and had implemented a rigorous curriculum that focused on imaging, design, and multimedia. She has since published several books and was named the Chair of the Masters in Digital Photography Program at SVA (The School of Visual Arts) in NYC in 2007.

Katrin is recognized as a positive role-model for young women who are seeking insights and opportunities in the field of digital technology and fine art. She excels at working with young woman - supporting their investigation of technology and fine art through creative self-expression.
