I'm looking for an APS-C camera, either mirrorless or DSLR, that can take a still photo while recording video. This feature isn't easy to find in comparison charts. Which models support it, and are there any limitations when doing so?

I have the 650D (Rebel T4i). and actually it was the Canon's try to make a DSLR which can record good videos too (Introducing focus while filming, stereo mics, new processor).
It can take pictures while filming actually but the things is that if you move while taking the picture or some object move, then the film will look like cut in middle when you take the picture. (The film will stop, the camera takes the picture, and then it will resume)

Yes—some cameras can do this, but there is usually a trade-off. From the answers provided, the Canon EOS 650D / Rebel T4i (APS-C DSLR) can capture stills while filming. However, when you press the shutter during video, the movie recording is interrupted briefly: the video effectively pauses or freezes, the still is taken, and then video recording resumes. If the camera or subject is moving, this can look like a visible jump in the footage. The still image and the movie are saved as separate files.
A similar behavior is also noted on the Canon 5D Mark III, though that model is full-frame, not APS-C.
So if your requirement is simply “take a photo while filming,” the 650D/T4i does support it. If you need completely seamless video with no freeze or gap, the answers here do not confirm an APS-C model that does that.
