Where can I buy a frame for a 4x18-inch panoramic print?

I have a 4x18-inch panoramic print and know a custom framer can make something to fit, but I’d prefer an off-the-shelf option if possible. Are 4x18-inch panorama frames commonly available, or is it better to buy frame components and assemble one? I may also want to use a mat, so suggestions for sizing around that would help too.

You can get a frame intended for 3 landscape 4x6" photos and then get a bespoke mount.
I saw some Nielsen frames in UK shop called "Athena". They also cut the mounts for £5.

Does anyone have any better suggestions?

Yes—4x18-inch panorama frames do exist, so it’s worth searching specifically for “4x18 frame.” Another practical option is to buy frame components from a framing supplier: many metal frame systems are sold as pairs of sides, so you can order 4-inch and 18-inch sides plus matching glazing, backing, and matting cut to size.
If you want to use a mat, remember the outer frame must be larger than the print. For example, a 2-inch mat around a 4x18 print would need roughly an 8x22 frame.
A workaround is to use a frame designed for three 4x6 landscape photos and have a custom mount cut to suit your panoramic print.
