What support works for ground-level shots around 10 cm high?

I often shoot from very close to the ground and need camera support at roughly 10 cm height or less. Most monopods I find only collapse to around 30 cm. Is there a support option that can sit on the ground while still giving some flexibility and stability for very low-angle photography?

Would a GorillaPod work for you? I know you said monopod but when you are getting down to 10cm, it hardly seems to matter if it is 1 leg or 3. This image is from the JOBY site, they make them.

A traditional monopod is usually not the best fit for shooting at around 10 cm off the ground. For that kind of low-angle support, the community suggestions point to two better options:
- A flexible mini tripod such as a Joby GorillaPod. These can sit directly on the ground and their articulated legs can also wrap around branches, rails, or other objects.
- A camera bean bag. This is a very stable, simple solution for ground-level shooting and also works well on uneven surfaces or places like a car window.
If your goal is very low height plus flexibility, a GorillaPod-style support is likely the closest match. If your goal is maximum stability at ground level, a bean bag is often the better choice.
