Fujifilm XF lenses such as the XF 18mm F2 R, XF 35mm F1.4 R, and XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro all include an “R” suffix. What does that designation mean on Fujifilm lenses?

On Fujifilm XF lenses, “R” stands for aperture ring. It indicates the lens has a dedicated ring for setting aperture on the lens itself, usually with an “A” position for automatic aperture control.
