On a Fujifilm X100T, what changes when I enable Macro mode? Does it affect autofocus only, or does it also change exposure or other camera behavior when shooting close subjects?

The Fuji X100T is a fixed lens camera. Like most such camera, it has a macro mode. That mode only affects autofocus. It allows it to consider closer distances than it would do otherwise, down to the lens minimum of 10cm and up to 2m. Otherwise the camera will focus between 50cm and infinity. This lets it focus quicker in each case it it has a restricted range of distances to work with.
For completeness, note that many fixed-lens camera have a Macro Focus-Mode like the X100T plus a Macro Scene Mode which changes how exposure parameters are computed, mostly choosing small apertures to increase depth-of-field. The X100T, of course, as no Scene Modes at all, so this does not apply. This Scene Mode is described in my answer to a similar question about a Panasonic FZ20.

On the X100T, Macro mode mainly changes close-focus behavior, not the exposure program.
From the community answers, its primary effect is to let autofocus work in a nearer distance range: roughly from about 10 cm to 2 m, instead of the normal range of about 50 cm to infinity. Restricting the AF range can also help autofocus lock faster.
It also matters for framing: at close distances, the optical viewfinder becomes inaccurate because of parallax. Macro shooting on the X100 series is therefore associated with using the electronic viewfinder for more accurate composition.
What it does not generally do on the X100T is apply a special “macro scene mode” exposure strategy. Some cameras have a separate macro scene mode that biases toward smaller apertures for more depth of field, but the X100T does not have scene modes like that.
