Is there a Lightroom lens correction profile for the Nikon Coolpix 995?

I'm editing older photos from a Nikon Coolpix 995 in Lightroom 3. The camera shows noticeable distortion, especially at the wide-angle end. Using Lightroom's Coolpix P6000 profile helps somewhat, but I'm wondering whether a dedicated Nikon Coolpix 995 lens correction profile exists, or if there's another way to correct it accurately.

I've never chanced to run acrosss one, but then, I wasn't looking. Even if there isn't one, you can always create one using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator utility. That goes for any other camera as well, including digital scans from old or obscure film camera transparencies, negatives or prints.

There doesn’t appear to be a commonly available Lightroom lens profile specifically for the Nikon Coolpix 995.
A practical option is to create your own using Adobe Lens Profile Creator. That can be used to build a correction profile for cameras and lenses that Adobe doesn’t already support, including older or obscure digital cameras. If the P6000 profile improves the results, you can keep using it as a rough workaround, but a custom profile should be more accurate for the 995’s distortion, especially at the wide end.
