A Panasonic Lumix GF3 is showing "mono" on the LCD and saving all photos in black and white. Where is the setting to switch it back to normal color shooting?

Record Menu -> Photo Style -> Standard (Change from Monochrome)

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
On the GF3, monochrome is usually controlled by the Photo Style setting. Go to:
Record Menu → Photo Style → Standard
If it’s currently set to Monochrome, changing it back to Standard should restore color photos.
One related Panasonic quirk mentioned by another user: on some Lumix models, Panorama color can follow the Video color setting, so if panorama shots are still monochrome, check whether any video/photo style setting is also set to Mono.
