The E-M5 manual says multiple images can be selected for deletion, but it does not clearly explain the steps. While reviewing photos in playback mode, how do you mark several images and then delete them all at once?

Press the REC button. A red tick will show up in the top right corner on the selected images.
When finished, press the DEL/trash button.
"Are you sure?" Yes. This will delete all selected images.

In playback mode, browse to each photo you want to remove and press the REC button to mark it. A red check/tick appears in the corner of each selected image. Repeat this for all images you want to delete. When finished, press the delete/trash button and confirm the prompt. The camera will delete all of the marked images together.
