How do I re-upload edited photos to a Facebook album from Aperture?

I uploaded photos to a Facebook album from Aperture, then made additional edits afterward. How can I sync or re-upload those updated images to Facebook? Does Aperture do this automatically, or is there a manual command to force it?

Also, is there any built-in way in Aperture to tell whether a photo has already been uploaded to a Facebook album?

Once you create a Facebook album in Aperture it will show up on the left hand pane or project inspector area. To re-upload or sync any changes that you have made, simply click the "publish" icon to the right of the album title.

I found a handy tutorial on Youtube that might help you with this process: here.

There is not a built in feature that specifically notes if an image is on Facebook that I am aware of. You will have to just look at the albums in the project inspector area and see if the images are in the Facebook albums there.

In Aperture, changes are not automatically pushed to Facebook. To update a Facebook album after editing, find the Facebook album in the left sidebar/project inspector and click the Publish icon next to the album name to sync the changes.

As for tracking whether a photo has already been uploaded, there doesn’t appear to be a built-in indicator specifically for that. The practical workaround is to check whether the image is included in the Facebook album shown in Aperture, or use your own labeling system to mark uploaded photos.
