In Adobe Lightroom, is there a quick way to compare an edited photo with the original or untransformed version using a single keypress or click? I'm looking for a fast before/after toggle while editing.

Use the \ key. You should be able to figure this out by going to the View menu, Before/After and next to the menu items you'll see the shortcuts there.

Yes. In Lightroom, press the backslash key () to toggle the current photo between the edited version and the “before” state. You can also find this under the View menu in the Before/After options, where Lightroom shows the related shortcuts.
