How do I change Lightroom 5’s default import destination folder?

When I insert an SD card, Lightroom 5 opens the Import dialog automatically. By default it wants to copy my photos to my C: drive, but I store RAW files on a different internal drive.
Can Lightroom 5 remember the last destination folder I used, or is there a way to set a different default import location for card imports?

Lightroom offers three ways to (automatically) set an import destination (I'm using Lightroom 2015.8 but I'm quite sure it worked like that before):
- Normally Lightroom saves the destination folder if you chose 'into one folder'-Option at the 'destination' panel of the import dialog (you need to import a few pictures once though). The next time you open the import dialog your last chosen folder should be preselected (only works for copying and moving images!).
- If this somehow doesn't work for you, you could define an import preset (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/photo-video-import-options.html#import_using_presets). To do so, define everything from preview to destination folder (right panel) and save your settings as preset. Next time you want to import images just select the images on the left and chose your import preset. All settings, including destination, will be set liked you've defined them in your preset.
- Last but not least, you could deactivate the auto import prompt (Edit/Preferences/General preferences - Option "Show Import Dialog When A Memory Card Is Detected") and manually import into your desired folder by right-clicking the destination folder in the library view and choosing option 'import into that folder'
(I'm not sure if the labels of the buttons are 100% correct since I'm not using Lightroom in English)

Yes. In Lightroom’s Import dialog, the destination can usually be remembered from your last import, especially when using Copy or Move and choosing the folder in the Destination panel. If you select “Into one folder,” Lightroom should preselect that folder the next time after you’ve imported once.
If you want something more reliable, save your import settings as an import preset. Set the options you want in the Import dialog, including the destination folder, then save that setup as a preset and choose it for future imports.
Another shortcut is in the Library module: under the Folders panel, right-click the folder you want and choose “Import into this folder.” That opens the Import window with that folder already selected.
Note: Lightroom’s “Auto Import Settings” is for watched-folder auto import workflows, not the normal card-import destination most people use.
