How can I selectively adjust the saturation of a specific color in RawTherapee?

I want to make targeted color changes in RawTherapee, similar to GIMP’s color tools—for example, reducing or increasing the saturation of cyan within a limited color range. I’d prefer to stay entirely in RawTherapee for consistency and image quality. I’ve tried tools like RGB curves, but they don’t seem precise for changing just one color range. Which RawTherapee tools are best for selective color adjustments like this?

There are two possibilities- "Lab Adjustments" on the Exposure tab, or "HSV Equalizer" on the Color tab.

Yes—RawTherapee has tools for this. The two main options are:
- Lab Adjustments in the Exposure tab
- HSV Equalizer in the Color tab
For selective saturation changes to a specific hue range, the HSV Equalizer is usually the most direct choice, since it is designed for hue/saturation/value adjustments by color range. Lab Adjustments is another option if you prefer working in Lab color controls.
So if you want to affect mainly cyan in a narrow range, start with the HSV Equalizer; if needed, compare the result with Lab Adjustments to see which gives you the control you want.
