How can I remotely control Yongnuo off-camera flashes on a Nikon without touching the camera?

I'm setting up a Nikon kit for real estate photography and want to use three Yongnuo off-camera flashes: two on light stands and one on a monopod. I also plan to use CamRanger so I can trigger the camera from an iPad without physically touching it, since I'll be taking multiple frames of the same composition.
My understanding is that I would normally put a Yongnuo transmitter such as the YN-622N-TX on the camera hot shoe to control flash settings like power and zoom. However, if the transmitter is mounted directly on the camera, I would have to touch the camera to make flash adjustments.
Is there a way to control the flashes remotely without touching the camera body, and what extra equipment would I need to do that?

You can use an off-shoe TTL cord to attach the YN-622N-TX to the hot shoe. That way you can control the flashes from the transmitter without touching the camera. This works in much the same way that a wired remote shutter release does. The cord absorbs all of the movement and the camera remains stationary.

Yes. Based on the community answer, the practical solution is to use an off-camera/off-shoe TTL cord between the camera’s hot shoe and the Yongnuo transmitter (such as a YN-622N-TX).
That lets the transmitter stay electrically connected to the camera while physically off the camera, so you can hold or place the transmitter elsewhere and adjust flash settings without touching the camera body. The cord carries the hot-shoe communication, and any movement is absorbed by the cord rather than the camera, similar to how a wired shutter release avoids camera shake.
So the basic setup is:
- Nikon camera
- Yongnuo transmitter compatible with Nikon
- Off-shoe TTL extension cord
- Receivers/compatible flashes for each off-camera flash
This should allow remote adjustment of your Yongnuo flash groups while keeping the camera stationary for bracketed or repeat exposures.
