I'm considering the Canon PowerShot G15 and want to confirm whether it allows manual aperture (f-number) adjustment. I noticed the Panasonic Lumix LX7 offers this, but I haven't clearly seen it listed for the G15. Does the G15 support aperture priority or full manual exposure control?

Yes it does. This falls under full manual-controls on most review sites.

You can tell this by simply looking at photos of the G15 and noting the positions on the mode-dial. The one labbeled A means you can select aperture while leaving the shutter-speed automatic and the M means that you can adjust both independently.

The G15 also happens to have dual control-dials, so you can adjust both aperture and shutter-speed easily.

Yes. The Canon PowerShot G15 supports manual aperture adjustment.

The camera has an A (aperture priority) mode, which lets you choose the f-number while the camera sets shutter speed automatically. It also has an M (manual) mode, where you can set both aperture and shutter speed yourself.

Based on the controls noted in the answers, the G15 also has dual control dials, making aperture and shutter-speed changes easier to adjust directly.

So if manual f-number control is important to you, the G15 does offer it.
