Can you use Auto ISO in Aperture Priority mode on a Nikon D3300?

I want to use Aperture Priority on my Nikon D3300 but still have the camera choose ISO automatically. When I leave full Auto mode, it seems like ISO stays wherever it was last set manually, which makes it easy to forget and end up with the wrong sensitivity. Is there a setting that enables Auto ISO in PASM modes, especially Aperture Priority?

This is the number #1 reason I never leave auto mode. It's too much hassle being forced to set the ISO sensitivity manually.
It looks like most people actually prefer this. But if you don't, you can change the setting:
According to this article, you enable auto ISO like so:
Go to: Menu>Shooting>ISO Sensitivity Settings, and turn the Auto ISO sensitivity control to On.

Yes. The Nikon D3300 can use Auto ISO outside full Auto mode, including in Aperture Priority.
Enable it here: Menu > Shooting > ISO sensitivity settings > Auto ISO sensitivity control > On
Once Auto ISO is turned on, you can use A mode to choose aperture while the camera automatically adjusts ISO as needed. This gives you the partial automation you want without staying in full Auto.
