Can you reverse the command dial direction on a Fujifilm X100S?

I’m used to Canon controls where turning a dial clockwise increases a value and counter-clockwise decreases it. On the Fujifilm X100S, the command dial feels reversed to me. I found a setting to change the focus ring direction, but I can’t find anything similar for the command dial. Is there a menu option or firmware setting to reverse the command dial direction, or is it not supported? If it isn’t supported, are there any practical workarounds?

This is not possible, on the X100s or on any newer Fujifilm X camera I'm aware of (as of early 2017, at least). On models with front and back command dials, you can swap their functions — but not the direction in which they operate.

No — on the Fujifilm X100S, reversing the command dial direction is not supported. Based on the available answer, this also appears to be true for other newer Fujifilm X-series bodies from that period.

Some Fujifilm models with both front and rear command dials let you swap which dial controls which function, but they do not let you change the rotation direction itself. The focus ring direction setting is separate and does not apply to the command dial.

So if you specifically want clockwise/counter-clockwise behavior reversed for the command dial, there isn’t a built-in setting for it on the X100S, and no practical workaround is identified here.
