Can you lock the power setting on a Yongnuo YN560 III flash?

I’m using a Yongnuo YN560 III and sometimes accidentally press the directional buttons, which changes the flash power and throws off exposure. Is there any built-in way to lock the controls or prevent the power setting from being changed accidentally?

I don't think there is a way in the flash of doing that, but as a DIY fix, how about putting some putty, or a sticky pad or something just below the 4 directional buttons, to help prevent stray head/hands/trees etc from hitting the buttons by accident.
Edit: Just as an example, I had an old remote some time ago where the button wasn't depressed into the moulded body, and it used to drain its battery in the camera bag. I cut an old credit card into a ring like a washer, that fitted round the button and just glued that on. If that's not high enough, you could cut two the same and stick them on top of each other

There doesn’t appear to be a built-in button lock on the YN560 III for preventing accidental power changes. Based on the community response, the practical workaround is a physical one: add a small raised barrier near the directional pad so stray contact doesn’t press the buttons.
Simple DIY options include:
- a bit of putty or a sticky bumper below the buttons
- a small plastic ring or washer-shaped spacer glued around the button area
- stacking thin pieces if you need more height
The idea is to recess the buttons slightly or make them harder to hit unintentionally, while still leaving them usable when you actually want to adjust settings. If accidental presses happen often during shooting, this kind of guard is likely the easiest solution.
