I have a blurry family photo from the 1940s/1950s showing my grandmother holding a camera, and I’m also trying to identify the negatives that came with it. From the image, can anyone identify the camera model and the film/negative type it likely used?

it is a kodak brownie hawkeye.
Kodak Brownie Hawkeye is a Bakelite box camera that takes 12 6x6cm images on 620 film, made in the USA and France by Kodak, between 1949-1961.
Flash model was added in 1950 and called the Brownie Flash in France and the Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash in the USA.
The design aesthetic is a throw-back to the Art Deco era of the 1920's, with clean minimalist fluting on the sides and an attractively-designed front.

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
Based on the community identification, the camera appears to be a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye. This is a Bakelite box camera made by Kodak from about 1949 to 1961, so the photo may be slightly later than the 1940s if that identification is correct.
The Brownie Hawkeye uses 620 roll film and makes 12 square exposures at about 6×6 cm on each roll. So if the inherited negatives came from that camera, they would most likely be medium-format 6×6 negatives from 620 film.
A related version with flash was sold as the Brownie Hawkeye Flash in the USA and Brownie Flash in France.
