I have some Nikon DSLR lenses from an older entry-level Nikon camera and now use a Sony mirrorless camera, possibly a NEX model. Is there an adapter that lets Nikon F-mount lenses attach to Sony E/FE mount cameras?

Yes, there is:

This is a British site but I'm sure they ship overseas.

Yes. Nikon F-mount lenses can be adapted to Sony E-mount/FE-mount mirrorless bodies with a Nikon F to Sony E adapter. Sony NEX cameras use the E mount, and Sony FE lenses use the same mount standard on full-frame bodies, so the adapter type is generally described as Nikon F to Sony E.
Compatibility and function depend on the specific adapter and lens type. Basic adapters are commonly used for manual-focus operation, and some versions are made to support Nikon G-type lenses that do not have an aperture ring.
