I want to see images from my Panasonic Lumix GH5 on a computer as I take them, so I can review shots immediately and possibly rename selected files on the spot. Is there a tethered shooting setup or software for this?

Panasonic have a Mac/Win tethering solution - https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/soft/download/d_lumixtether.html
idk whether it would satisfy your need, but as the images would be straight to your Mac, presumably you could sort by date so your last image is at the top then use Finder to rename.

Yes. What you’re looking for is tethered shooting. Panasonic provides Lumix Tether for Mac and Windows, which lets the GH5 send images directly to a computer while you shoot.
Based on the community answer, this should give you live access to the files on your computer for immediate review. If your goal is to pick the latest shot and rename it right away, you can typically sort the destination folder by date so the newest image appears first, then rename it in Finder or your file manager.
Whether it fully matches your workflow depends on exactly how much live control and file management you need, but Panasonic’s tethering software is the first place to start for a GH5.
