Can I use Canon FD lenses on an Olympus PEN E-PL1 with an adapter?

I have an Olympus PEN E-PL1, which uses the Micro Four Thirds mount, and I also have a couple of older Canon FD lenses from my parents' AE-1 cameras. If I buy a Canon FD-to-Micro Four Thirds adapter, will these lenses mount and work on the E-PL1? I'm mainly wondering what functionality I should expect to lose when using this kind of adapter.

Will this Lens Mount work with the Canon lenses I have?
YES, It will allow you to mount your FD, or FL, lens's to your PEN E-PL1 but see note below, I can not speak to functionality as I know nothing about the PEN E-PL1.
From the amazon link.
Note: This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted. Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode. If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default. All pictures are for illustration purposes only. Actual product may vary slightly due to ongoing improvements in design.

Yes — a Canon FD-to-Micro Four Thirds adapter should let you physically mount Canon FD (and likely FL) lenses on an Olympus PEN E-PL1.
However, this type of adapter is manual, so you should expect to lose any functions that depend on electronic communication between the lens and camera body. In practice, that means autofocus and other automatic lens-controlled functions will not work through the adapter. You’ll typically need to shoot with manual settings or use Aperture Priority with stop-down metering.
Also note: if a lens does not have a manual aperture ring/control, it may stop down to its smallest aperture by default.
So the key points are:
- mounting: yes
- autofocus/electronic functions: no
- exposure: manual or aperture-priority stop-down shooting
If your goal is to use older manual-focus Canon FD lenses on your PEN, an FD-to-Micro Four Thirds adapter is the correct type of adapter to look for.
