Probably not. On cameras like the EOS 1100D, the viewfinder exposure display timing is generally part of the camera’s power-saving behavior and is not usually adjustable.

In practice, the display will stay active while you half-press the shutter button, and on many cameras it also remains active while you adjust exposure controls. But if it times out, you typically need to wake it again with a half-press of the shutter.

You may be able to change image review time on the rear LCD after taking a shot, but that is separate from how long the viewfinder meter stays on.
