Can I automate a repeated effect workflow in Paint.NET?

I use Paint.NET to create a multi-step vintage look and would like to apply the same sequence of edits to other photos without repeating every step manually. Does Paint.NET support recording macros or automation, or is there a plugin that can save and rerun a workflow?

I believe you can do this with the ScriptLab Plugin. I see it advertised as:
Use this plugin to create scripts and compilations of all of your other Paint.NET effects, adjustments, and plugins. You can save, load, and share your scripts.
You can pick it up at this link.

Yes. Based on the community answer, Paint.NET can do this with the ScriptLab plugin. It’s designed to create scripts that combine multiple Paint.NET effects, adjustments, and other plugins, then save, load, and reuse those scripts on other images. So if your vintage look involves many repeatable steps, ScriptLab is the practical solution rather than rebuilding the effect manually each time. Creating your own plugin would generally only make sense if ScriptLab can’t cover your workflow or you need a very custom effect.
