Can a standard Eye‑Fi Mobi card transfer RAW files from a Canon 6D?

I’m using an Eye‑Fi card in a Canon 6D. JPEGs transfer wirelessly without any problem, but RAW files do not. If I rename a RAW file so it has a .jpg extension, the card will transfer it. My card appears to be a non‑Pro Eye‑Fi model. Can a standard Eye‑Fi Mobi be made to transfer RAW files, or is there any workaround such as changing how the camera saves files?

I am with Eyefi and I would like to see if we can get this sorted out for you.
It sounds like you may have a standard Eyefi Mobi card. What color is your card and what is the GB capacity? If it's an orange 32GB card, its a standard Mobi card, which only transfers JPEG files via WiFi. If it's a black 32GB card, then it is an Eyefi Mobi Pro card and I would like you to speak with our support team if you're not seeing RAW files transfer wirelessly.
If have a moment, please contact [email protected].
Thanks!

A standard Eye‑Fi Mobi card transfers JPEG files only. RAW transfer is a feature of the Eye‑Fi Mobi Pro, so a non‑Pro card cannot be made to natively transfer RAW just by changing settings on the Canon 6D.
Renaming a RAW file to .jpg may let it copy, but that does not convert it into a real JPEG and is not a proper solution. Cameras also generally do not save RAW data with a JPEG extension.
The only workaround mentioned is using something like Magic Lantern scripting on the 6D to automate renaming after capture, but that is not an out‑of‑the‑box or reliable RAW‑transfer solution.
So the practical answer is: if you have a standard Mobi, expect JPEG‑only wireless transfer; for RAW transfer you would need a Pro model or another workflow.
