Can a Panasonic GH1 be fully used through the EVF if the rear LCD is broken?

If the rear LCD on a Panasonic GH1 no longer works, can the camera still be operated entirely through the electronic viewfinder? Specifically, are menus and shooting displays available in the EVF, or are some functions only shown on the LCD?

I own a GH1. I just did a quick check. All display modes, except the "setting display" (as shown here) are duplicated on both, LCD and EVF.

Based on an owner’s check, the GH1 mirrors nearly all display modes on both the rear LCD and the EVF. The exception is the camera’s "setting display," which appears to be LCD-only. So for normal shooting and most camera operation, the EVF should still let you use the camera, but at least one display/menu mode is not duplicated there. In short: mostly yes, but not absolutely everything is available through the EVF.
