Can a Canon 1300D store different ISO settings for M and Av modes?

On my Canon 1300D, aperture and other exposure settings can differ between Manual (M) and Aperture Priority (Av), but ISO appears to carry over when I switch modes. Is there any way to have separate ISO values saved per exposure mode, such as ISO 200 in M and ISO 400 in Av, so the camera recalls them automatically when I turn the mode dial?

No. This sort of feature is available on higher level Canon cameras where you can have one or more sets of "custom settings", but not on an entry level camera like the 1300D.

No. On the Canon 1300D/Rebel T6, ISO is not stored independently for each exposure mode in the way you describe.

That kind of workflow is generally only available on Canon bodies that include custom shooting modes on the mode dial, such as C1/C2/C3. With those cameras, you can save a whole group of settings—including ISO—and recall them by turning the dial to a custom mode.

The 1300D does not have custom modes, so when you switch between M and Av, the ISO setting is shared rather than remembered separately for each mode. In practice, you’ll need to change ISO manually when switching modes, or use Auto ISO if that suits your shooting.
