CP1300 v CP1200
Canon's brand new SELPHY CP1300 is the newest in their SELPHY printer lineup. This ultra-portable printer connects wirelessly to your phone, tablet, or laptop so you can print your favorite photos quickly and easily. With the release of the new CP1300, Canon has made some improvements on the CP1200 model.
The small, lightweight CP1300 can print 4"x6" photos in 47 seconds and card size (2.1" x 3") in 39 seconds. And no waiting for ink to dry, their dye sublimation process ensures finger-print free photos.
The Selphy CP1300 has a 3.2 inch LCD screen compared to the CP1200's 2.7 inch screen. Both screens are tiltable allowing for flexibility when operating the unit. The CP1300 boasts an upgraded user interface and intuitive control.
A new feature for the CP1300 printer is that the prints are all made to last up to 100 years and are even water resistant. Based on accelerated testing by Canon in dark storage under controlled temperature, humidity and gas conditions, simulating storage in an album with plastic sleeves. Canon cannot guarantee the longevity of prints; results may vary depending on printed image, display/storage conditions, and environmental factors.
