OVERVIEW
The Zoom LiveTrak L12next seamlessly blends the versatility of a digital mixer and multitrack recorder with the intuitive feel of analog controls. Packing 12 input channels, 14-track direct recording, and 14x4 USB-C audio interface functionality into a single console, it features five independent monitor outputs—making it a powerful centerpoint for live shows, studio sessions, and online streaming.
Intuitive Tactile Control
Each mono channel features a smooth 60mm fader alongside three multifunctional encoder knobs that grant immediate, menu-free access to gain, EQ, compression, panning, and FX sends. An integrated OLED display simplifies navigation, while dedicated buttons for pad, mute, and solo keep workflow fast and reliable.
Pro-Grade Audio & Preamps
Upgraded preamps deliver up to +70 dB of clean gain with an exceptionally low noise floor (-128 dBu EIN). Inputs support Hi-Z switching for guitars and basses, along with +48V phantom power assignable in groups of four. To guarantee clean dynamic headroom, the master channel records in 32-bit float to completely eliminate digital clipping, complemented by an analog-style master compressor for warm, polished mixes.
Recording & DAW Integration
Capture 14 individual tracks up to 24-bit / 96 kHz directly to internal storage or an SD card while simultaneously streaming to your Mac, PC, or mobile device over USB-C. Studio-friendly features like Overdub, Auto Punch In/Out, File Select, and DAW control surface functionality make layering and editing smooth and efficient.
Flexible Monitoring & Scene Management
Five dedicated monitor outputs allow every performer to receive a tailored mix for headphones, in-ear monitors, or stage wedges. A dedicated engineer output and built-in talkback microphone make communication effortless. Save and instantly recall up to 10 scene memories—complete with fader positions, EQ, and effects—with visual confirmation from LED meters and a dedicated Fader Position recall button.
Built-In FX & Remote Operation
Enhance live performances and rehearsals using 16 built-in effects, including adjustable reverbs and delays. Fine-tune mixes wirelessly using the L12next Control iPad app, connect an optional Zoom FS01 footswitch for hands-free control, or mount the mixer into standard racks using the optional RKL-12 rack kit.
