Overview

The X-Rite ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 is designed to help you achieve accurate exposure & color, & features a compact, physical-design, making it a portable solution, to ensure accurate rendering in your images. The package includes 4x targets, in a compact design, & is characterized by its, updated, "v1.2 Camera Calibration" software, for making DNG & ICC camera profiles, & a dedicated, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom plug-in, for creating custom post-production profiles. Included Targets (4x):

• 1x 18% Gray Balance Target - "Neutral de facto" Standard (Ensures accurate exposure).
• 1x White Balance Target - Spectrally Neutral (To compensate for different lighting conditions).

V1.2 Color Calibration Software is available, & works together with Passport Photo 2 to help you create custom color profiles, while achieving accurate colors. This software offers the ability to create DNG & ICC camera profiles by using the ColorChecker Classic target. The software helps to minimize color differences between shots, adapt for mixed lighting conditions, & match color balance from different scenes. Dual-illuminant DNG profiles can be created, which combines the images taken in two different light sources, & creates a single profile that you can apply, to a wider variety of lighting conditions.
