The Western Digital 3TB My Passport is a portable hard drive that allows you to store large media files, thus clearing memory space on your system. This hard drive can work with both Windows and Mac OS systems, of these the latter requires the drive to be formatted. The USB 3.0 port can also accept connection from USB 2.0 devices. This hard drive offers data protection with a 256-bit AES hardware encrypted password via WD Security software. The WD Backup software can be used to set scheduled backups at particular intervals.
