The Smart-AVI Smartnet-X UXGA/AUDIO/IR over CAT5 (16x16) Matrix Switch is an advanced device that serves as a switching matrix for both video and stereo audio signals. It comes with an RS422 control, which includes the SNX16X16, the SCONTROL software, and the SRS422 RS232 adapter. This unit distributes, balances, and drives signals differentially. It features a local audio output on the front for accommodating a wide range of multi-room audio systems. You can control the unit by connecting an RS422 port via an RJ45 on the front of the primary chassis.
