The camera allows you to transfer images to smart devices via the built-in Wi-Fi. An EN-EL14A Li-ion battery powers this Nikon camera.

These elements have super integrated coating applied to them reduce ghosting and flare. The silent wave motor AF ensures a quiet and precise autofocus operation. To support handheld shooting, the lens incorporates the Nikon VR II image stabilization. The 7 rounded diaphragm blades create a smooth bokeh. In the camera's Multi-CAM 4800DX AF sensor module, there are 39 unique phase-detection points. When you switch to the video mode, the camera uses the contrast-detection AF to keep the focus fixed on the subject.
