Overview
The Sony E 18–200mm f/3.5–6.3 OSS Lens is a versatile zoom lens featuring a responsive focus motor and image stabilization. Designed for APS-C Sony E-mount cameras, the lens includes 17 elements that are arranged in 12 groups. Four aspherical and a single Extra-low dispersion element is a part of the optical construction to restrict various distortions. You can adjust the focal length of the lens from 18 to 200mm that is 35mm equivalent of 27–300mm. The internal AF motor remains quiet during the autofocus operation to allow silent still image capture and video recording. Moreover, the lens supports the Direct Manual Focus mode of Sony Alpha cameras to attain critical focus. The Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode image stabilization reduces unwanted movement. It synchronizes with the sensor-shift image stabilization in Sony Alpha series cameras to provide further stabilization. With the 7-blade diaphragm, the lens offers a smooth bokeh quality. You can attach 67mm circular filters on the front thread.
