Overview
The Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 Lens is made for shooting in low light conditions. It can be mounted to full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. For crop sensor cameras, the lens offers a focal length of 75mm. The lens uses 6 elements in 5 groups. A single aspherical element is placed in the lens construction to ensure image sharpness. The DC actuator motor provides quiet and accurate focusing performance. With the fast aperture of f/1.8, you can take well-lit images in low light. It also contributes to the image quality when teamed with the rounded 7-blade diaphragm. You can fit a 49mm filter on the front thread. The metal bayonet can withstand stress, thus ensuring durability.
