Designed for Canon full-frame cameras, this prime lens has 17 elements in 12 groups including two FLD, three SLD, and three aspherical elements to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. The super multi-layer coating reduces ghosting and flare. With the hypersonic AF motor, the lens can focus down to a minimum distance of 11.02 inches. You can manually override the autofocus parameters to attain critical focus. All nine diaphragm blades are rounded to produce smooth, circular bokeh. The fast aperture of f/1.4 allows you to capture photos and videos in low light without increasing the ISO too much. Use the optional Sigma USB Dock to adjust the lens' focus settings and update its firmware. The lens barrel is resistant to environmental elements.
