OVERVIEW
The Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon is the latest addition to the highly-acclaimed Art series of premium lenses. The lens is designed to cover full frame sensors, and it has a 15-elements-in-11-groups that ensure consistent peripheral brightness and sharpness. Sigma has concentrated on providing greater edge-to-edge performance with its lens, even when using the maximum aperture setting of f/1.4. It has a combination of three FLD, four SLD, and a pair of aspherical elements help reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions. The 24 mm lens is compatible with Sigma’s USB dock that will allow you to update the firmware, and make calibrations such as adjusting the focus from the computer.
