OVERVIEW
The Sigma AF 24–70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens is designed for different photography styles. This lens can be used with Canon cameras having an EF mount. Its optical design involves 19 elements arranged in 14 groups, including 3 SLD and 4 aspherical elements for reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations. Moreover, a super multi-layer coat is applied on the lens elements to minimize ghosting and lens flare as well as to improve contrast. The Hyper Sonic AF motor incorporated into the lens ensures fast and quiet autofocusing. Further, with the nine-blade diaphragm, the lens can generate a beautiful bokeh effect on images. The Optical Stabilizer compensates for camera shakes when shooting handheld. A composite material is used for the body of the lens, while brass is used for the bayonet mount.
