Overview
The Sigma 50 - 100 mm f/1.8 DC HSM Lens is an indispensable piece of equipment for all Sigma SA-mount cameras that lets you combine a fast, constant maximum aperture with a large variety of telephoto focal lengths. It comes with one special low dispersion element and three F low dispersion elements for reducing unnecessary color fringing and chromatic aberrations that occur throughout the entire zoom range. The built-in HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) offers a fast and quiet autofocus that is further complemented by an optimized AF algorithm to deliver a smoother focusing performance. Finally, the lens includes a tripod collar for offering stability whenever the lens is mounted on top of a monopod or tripod.
