The Rode NTG5 Moisture Resistant Shotgun Microphone is designed to let you capture high-quality audio, by booming the microphone, with a separately available boompole, for your videos, films, or documentaries. The kit includes the Rode NTG5 Moisture Resistant Shotgun Microphone, with a custom-designed shockmount, & a furry windshield, for wind & vibration protection.
The Rode NTG5 Shotgun Microphone was designed to be even lighter, & shorter, than the Rode NTG3, & features a flatter bass response, to capture organic, uncolored sound, whether it be indoors, or outside. The microphone is designed to enhance your audo-recording experience for your next documentary, film, or TV project, without weighing down your rig.
The microphone is designed with professional features, to make it ideal for a range of recording conditions. It features a smooth off-axis response, ultra-low noise circuitry, & a tightly controlled low end, to make it versatile. A furry windshield, & pistol-grip shockmount are also included.
Due to its extremely high sensitivity, the NTG5 Shotgun Microphone is able to produce robust, output levels, without the need to apply extreme gain to your mic preamp. Its circular acoustic ports, rumble-reducing attenuation of low bass frequencies, & gentle rise in high frequencies, assist in delivering acoustic transparency, sonically. The microphone is switch, & dial-free, to allow you to focus fully on the sound, rather than worrying about various microphone settings.
The Rode NTG5 Shotgun Microphone is designed to withstand humidity, & condensation, that is encountered, when your work takes you outdoors. Its RF-bias technology, & conformal coating, are included to resist moisture, cold, & dust, which all can have a negative impact on your recording-quality. Its 3-pin XLR output, & compliance with 48 VDC phantom power, makes it compatible with field recorders, handheld audio recorders, & mixer adapters, & makes it fully compatible with the included Pistol Grip. The kit is designed to fit in any, standard equipment case.
