Beyond EXCELLENT

I have read all the reviews. I cannot see any negative comments, so tell me why you are hesitant to give a 5-star rating. I have been a Professional Photographer for 38 years and have many national and international Awards. With all the knowledge and experience I have about using cameras, you cannot get a better COMPACT camera for the money. Guys, you are talking a"fast lens" allowing more light to hit the sensor so you can shoot more successfully in low light conditions (and better blurring the background effect), a 4/3 sensor (larger than most point and shoots, ie better image quality). It is small when turned off, not a large protruding interchangeable lens, allowing portability eg in a jacket pocket. If this is your only camera and do not mind LARGER, then other Panasonic cameras has that option too. I especially like the hot shoe where I can add an external (brighter) flash. (This is needed if you are shooting a larger group and need to back up). I am huge on lighting, so I use radio slaves on the hot shoe, allowing me to move my lights anywhere I desire to produce "professional" results with a point-and-shoot camera. My Professional cameras are Full-frame Nikons, but for walking around, my point and shoot choices are the Panasonic LX7 and LX100. If you do not know cameras and need guidance purchasing, by far, the best bang for your buck on a compact camera!

Being an enthusiastic photographer, I was in need of a new device when my old camera was not working properly. This prompted me to search for another digital camera. During my search, I came to know that Panasonic had launched a new and improved camera for the Lumix DMC series. I wasted no time and got more information about it. When it fitted my requirements perfectly, I purchased the new Lumix DMC LX100K camera. It has enabled me to create excellent compositions. It’s best feature is, without a doubt, the ability to record Full HD videos and give me complete freedom to capture stills and videos.
