OVERVIEW

The Olympus Tough TG-6 Digital Camera (Red) sports a rugged physical construction, & its design is loaded with user-friendly features, making it a great gadget for outdoor or adventure photographers. The TG-6 features a 12MP High-Speed CMOS image sensor, as well as a Dual Quad TruePic VIII image processor, which work together to produce high-quality images & video. The TG-6's focusing system, made up of focusing modes and AF points, makes it easy to focus on subjects with great precision. This tough camera is crushproof, waterproof-rated for use up to 50-ft-deep waters, freezeproof down to -10° C, dustproof-rated, & shockproof. The Wi-Fi capabilities allow you to transfer your images & video via Olympus' "Image Track" app, while also enabling remote use of your camera.

Optics and Focus

The TG-6 is equipped with a built-in 4× optical zoom lens that offers a bright f/2 aperture, and a focal length of 25–100mm (35mm equivalent). The maximum shutter speed stands at 1/2,000th of a second, while the ISO sensitivity is adjustable between 100 and 12,800. The 25-point autofocus system, as well as numerous focusing modes, are useful for automatically focusing on subjects with outstanding precision. The image-stabilization function makes it possible to take blur-free shots with little effort. The flash & exposure modes assist in a variety of photography scenarios.

Sensor and Screen

The Olympus TG-6 Digital Camera’s 12 MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor lets you shoot high-quality pictures and 4K footage. The 3.0", rear, LCD screen provides a 1.04 Million-dot resolution & 100% screen coverage for browsing menus and viewing your captured content.

Image and Video

The Olympus Tough TG-6 captures images in RAW and JPEG formats, and records high-quality 4K footage in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 & MOV formats. The featured Underwater Modes are useful for taking clear and creative photos while shooting underwater, & the interval timer allows you to conveniently capture time-lapse shots.
